Today I’m showing you the 4th project from the recent Stamp-a-Stack class. At the class, all of the attendees made 10 cards (2 each of 5 designs) in 3 hours.
One of the designs was for a child and another for a male. Here is the card suitable for a male.
It uses one of the stamps I ordered as part of my Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Starter Kit over 6 years ago and is one of the few Wood Mount sets I own. I think I’ll be distraught if and when it finally retires.
These cards are such fun to make as no two are the same with the sponging of the sunset/sunrise.
A tip I gave the attendees for this project was to build the colour gradually as you can always add more. It’s much more difficult to take it away. However, if they did overdo the darker colours, I explained how going over the project with the more yellow colour helped to even everything out again.
I hope that last bit makes some sort of sense!
I really like how striking this card is.
Pop back tomorrow to see the final card we made.
Happy crafting
