As we’ve reached the start of a new week, it’s time to show you last week’s Card & Cuppa project.
This uses a bundle containing the Bunch of Blossoms stamp set and Blossom Builder Punch.
You may recognise one of the punched pieces as one of the aliens we made the other week. This time, we used the punch for its intended purpose!
The stamp set uses 2-step stamping but as it is photopolymer, it is easy to line up.
There were several pieces to punch out, along with a sentiment, so I showed the attendees how to position their stamping onto a piece of cardstock and which order to punch them out to avoid any craft-tastrophes!
We punched out the sentiment first, then the upside down alien and star.
With the ‘star’ piece, we folded this in half and wrapped it under the punched section. The bottom of the petal was then attached with a glue dot and the top with a dimensional to give the flower more of a 3D effect.
The project was then finished off with a piece of coordinating ribbon and some Wink of Stella (Clear).
My first attempt at designing this project didn’t use a background. Which one do you prefer, with or without?
This week marks the start of our third Card & Cuppa venue. So, there are now three opportunities to make the project for the week.
