Happy Monday!
It’s time for the first Card & Cuppa session of the week so that means it is also time to show you last week’s project.
This week it’s a really bright and cheery card to send to someone you may not have been in touch with for a while to let them know that you haven’t forgotten about them!
The card uses the fabulous Badges & Banners stamp set with the matching punch – these come as a bundle which saves 10%. This design is again inspired by a project on page 89 of the Annual Catalogue,
I’ve just changed the colours to Melon Mambo and Tempting Turquoise to brighten up the design and created my own background strip instead of using Designer Series Paper.
I really like this little bird in the cage and it is a great image for colouring with Stampin’ Write Markers. Once I’d coloured the bird in this project, I thought it looked a bit like the Twitter bird!
I also made two other versions: the same design in landscape, and a ‘thank you’ in Rich Razzleberry instead of Melon Mambo.
Which do you prefer?
Just a reminder that next week’s Monday Card & Cuppa session is being replaced by Card & Cuppa for Children.
So, you can either bring your small people to that session, or pop along to the Card & Cuppa sessions on Wednesday and Thursday where we’ll be making one of our ‘normal’ projects.
Remember to book your place by 18:00 the day before so that I have enough kits prepared and chairs available at the cafe.
Happy crafting
