Touches of Texture Class – Project 4

This is fourth project from the Papercrafting: Touches of Texture Class I held earlier this month.

Stampin' Up! Touches of Texture

This diagonal slash card is really effective and only uses three stamps, the flower outlines, the sentiment and the lace stamped behind the sentiment.

The flowers were coloured using Blender Pens to soften them slightly with the middles coloured with Wink of Stella (Gold).

Once the cut had been made, it was time for the sentiment to be added, again cut on an angle to ensure the straight edge down the side.

Another flower was stamped and cut out by hand. This flower is ‘spiky’ so the cuts are straight cuts rather than trying to follow the lines of the flower.

Using a lot of Tear & Tape on the back of the punched circles, Metallic Thread was then wrapped around before attaching the hand-cut flower.

This project was the most time consuming out of the six due to the cutting out of the flower and wrapping of thread, but I think the ladies forgave me when they saw their finished project!

Pop back tomorrow when I’ll show the penultimate project from the class.

Happy crafting
