Last week’s Card & Cuppa – Swirly Bird revisited

I hope you’re enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend, in spite of the downpours!

As it’s Monday again it is time to show you the project from last week’s Card & Cuppa.

Here it is:

Stampin' Up! Swirly Bird

I revisited the Swirly Bird Stamp Set and used the bird, leaves and flowers to create a lovely fresh ‘thank you’ card.

Previously we’ve created a more masculine card using the kites from this set. This time is was a more feminine feel. There are still more stamps left to use in this set too, so I expect it will get another Card & Cuppa outing!

As it is difficult to use the Big Shot at the various cafes, rather than cut out the flowers using the coordinating dies, we used a circle punch instead. The flowers were stamped several times using one inking to create varied colours.

If you want to join us for Card & Cuppa then visit my Class Timetable for more information. Due to the Bank Holiday, this week’s session is on Wednesday.

Please make sure you book your place by 18:00 the night before each Card & Cuppa session so that I can have the right number of kits available and enough space saved in the cafe for everyone.

Happy crafting
