One Sheet Wonder Class – Projects 1 & 2

Earlier this month, we held our regular Papercrafting Class.

This month it was the turn of a One Sheet Wonder using the Blooms & Wishes Stamp Set where the attendees made 8 cards and a coordinating box to put them in.

If you haven’t heard of a One Sheet Wonder before then read on to learn more.

Here are the first 2 projects.

Stampin' Up! Blooms & Wishes

Stampin' Up! Blooms & Wishes

A one sheet wonder involves randomly stamping a sheet of cardstock and then cutting it into a number of different pieces to create a number of cards (8 in this case), effectively making your own background sheet. There are various cutting sheets available all over the internet, but I chose to design my own.

Floral designs work really well for this and it’s good to have a few larger images and then some smaller ones to fill the gaps. You can also chose whether to completely cover the sheet or leave a few white spaces.

For this design, we used Sweet Sugarplum, Blushing Bride, Rich Razzleberry, Mint Macaron and Sahara Sand.

Pop back tomorrow where I’ll show you the next two projects.
