As it is Monday, it is time to show you last week’s Card & Cuppa project.
We only had one session last week due to the Bank Holiday and cafe holiday closure but were joined by some of our regular attendees who made this card:
The card uses the Falling Flowers Stamp Set and only one ink pad. The rest of the colouring has been done with Stampin’ Write Markers (you could use an ink pad and blender pen but the markers are a more speedy method).
The flower has been stamped onto coloured cardstock twice and cut out both times, one the whole flower and the second the centre only. We could have used the matching framelits that are part of the bundle with this stamp set but I made everyone fussy cut as we don’t tend to use the Big Shot at Card & Cuppa sessions due to space.
I deliberately designed this project wtihout a sentiment and couldn’t decide if i liked the card in portrait or landscape.
Which one do you prefer?
If you’d like to join us at a Card & Cuppa session then please book your place by 18:00 the night before so that I have enough kits and chairs available for everyone.
Happy crafting
