Happy Monday!

For last Monday’s Card & Cuppa class we made the following card which was extremely well co-ordinated.

I took inspiration from the Afffectionately Yours Speciality Designer Series Paper to choose the colours and stamps for this project. Rather than sitting there stroking the paper, I decided that it needed to be used!

The DSP contains Night of Navy and Crumb Cake,so these are the colours I used for the base card and layer.

There are also flowers in other colours on the DSP so I chose one of these colours for the stamping of the flowers from the coordinating Love & Affection Stamp Set.

The images were stamped tone on tone in an ‘organised’ random manner!

One of the most difficult parts of this project was deciding which side of the DSP to use.  There was also the deciding whether to use half and half to get the best of both worlds!

The sentiment from the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set is set against a piece of Natural Trim Ribbon which adds a touch of bling to the card.
