We’ve finally reached December so are heading into the final weeks of Crafty Christmas Weekend Workouts.
This week I’m going to show you a Gift Tag idea. These are the tags I put on the Christmas Card Boot Camp bags and they are really cute.
They mainly use items from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue – some of which are now on special offer through the new Year End Closeout Sale.
These tags are so easy to make and you can make 10 tag bases out of a sheet of A4 with a bit of cardstock to spare. To create the top of the tag I’ve used the handy Scalloped Tag Topper punch – it’s really useful at this time of year!
I’ve created the tag using the gorgeous Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Set and Builder Punch Bundle, this is images of a Reindeer, Gingerbread man, Eskimo, Santa and Teddy Bear that can all be cut out with the coordinating punch. Brilliant for all children young and old!
I really like the reindeer as I love that his nose can be embellished with some Glimmer card or Wink of Stella to turn him into Rudolph!
I’ve used a few additional stamp sets to create the initial on the tag but it’s not essential that you do that. You could just write the name on a punched piece of cardstock.
This tag uses the Candy Cane Lane Baker’s Twine (2 spools of Twine, each 22.9m) and the cute Mini Jingle Bells that I’ve tied on using Metallic Thread so the tag jingles when you move it. Unfortunately these are now no longer available as they have sold out 🙁
Make sure you check out the Year End Closeout Offers and remember that some items are retiring items from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue and are only available while stocks last from 1st December to 3rd January.
Happy crafting
