Last week was the first Card & Cuppa classes of the new year.
We created this lovely bright Birthday card using some brand new products from the Spring/Summer catalogue.
The stamp set is called Balloon Adventures and also coordinates with a new set of thinlits, as well as coordinating with the current Balloon Bouquet Punch.
I love the new more curly strings. A little tip for you to make the strings look different is to use them both ways round like I’ve done here, more looks by just rotating the stamp 180 degrees.
Did you spot the brand new Emerald Envy Tafetta Ribbon too? Isn’t it fabulous?
I gave the attendees a choice of making a project with more Emerald Envy balloons, or a project with more Crushed Curry balloons (below). The split was about 50/50! Which one would you have chosen to make?
On the balloons we used Wink of Stella in Clear on the dots and stripes to add a bit of bling. I’m not if you can see it to well in the pictures. We also added a coordinating Enamel Shape to the ‘i’ of ‘birthday’ to make it pop.
If you’d like to join us for Card & Cuppa classes then make sure you book your place by 18:00 the day before so that I have enough kits available for everyone. All abilities welcome from beginners to advanced.
Happy crafting
