At last week’s Card & Cuppa I used a SAB Stamp Set that I hadn’t shown much love to called ‘Hey, Chick’.
Here is the project:
How cute it this? I love how the chicken on the fence is looking inquisitively at you!
This project took a little bit of pre-work to make sure everything was in the correct place. The secret is to draw lines that you can cover up with the design.
To create this scene we used the Hardwood Stamp and the Classic Label Punch for the fence. The ‘funky’ chicken is coloured with Watercolor Pencils in Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral.
As Thick Baker’s Twine is a bit too chunky for this project, we split it into three strands to make the lines across the top, before adding the sentiment.
I think this would make a lovely Easter Card or an Any Occasion Card.
