Another of my regular Card & Cuppa attendees celebrated their Birthday earlier this week.  This is the card I made them.

The stunning image from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set was my starting point for this card.  The recipient is a fan of both Crumb Cake and Sweet Sugarplum, so my colour choice reflects this.

I began by using Chocolate Chip to stamp the flower image and I then stamped the butterflies in Sweet Sugarplum for contrast.

By using Watercolor Pencils to colour the image I was able to create a soft look.  A touch of Wink of Stella Clear over the flowers just gives a little sparkle.

A punched banner sentiment using the ‘Happy Birthday’ from Balloon Celebration, a punched butterfly and Rhinestones finish the project.
