I hope you’re enjoying the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend.
At last week’s Card & Cuppa classes, we made this bright punch art card for Easter or Spring.
I’d seen other punch art daffodils on Pinterest but they were made with 5 petal punches. As daffodils have 6 petals these versions were bothering me, so I had to find a 6 petal flower instead.
In my Annual Catalogue I found the pointed petal flower in the fabulous Falling Flowers Stamp Set which has 6 petals. The trumpet is from the Blossom Builder Punch.
Of course, using Daffodil Delight ink onto Daffodil Delight card is a must for making daffodils. The attendees had the choice of making white, yellow, or a combination, plus a choice of trumpet colours too. We cut out the flowers by hand, but you could use the matching May Flower Framelits if you prefer.
The jar from the Jar of Love Stamp Set and retiring Cucumber Crush Thick Baker’s Twine to coordinate with the stems add the finishing touches.
Here is a better view of the trumpets.
Due to the Bank Holidays and other commitments, Card & Cuppa classes are on a different schedule for the next few weeks. Monday classes will return on Monday 8th May. Thursday classes will run on 20th April and then 4th May.
Please make sure you have booked your place by 18:00 the night before.
Happy crafting
