Last Week’s Card & Cuppa – Timeless Textures

At last week’s Card & Cuppa class we used Stampin’ Write Markers in several different ways.

Stampin' Up! UK Touches of Texture

We inked up the stem of flowers image from the Touches of Texture Stamp Set using Stampin’ Write Markers.  This allows you to put the ink exactly where you want on the image.  Before you stamp onto the cardstock, don’t forget to ‘huff’ on the stamp to remoisten the ink.  We used the combination of Emerald Envy and Rose Red.

Once we had Emerald Envy leaves and Rose Red flowers, we used a Blender Pen to colour them and soften the image.

Using the lovely lace image we stamped it in So Saffron down one edge.  The Early Espresso bees scattered across the project are once again coloured using a Stampin’ Write Marker, this time in So Saffron.

The sentiment is from the Jar of Love Stamp Set with a co-ordinating Rose Red layer.

A strip of Emerald Envy Ribbon and five Rhinestones added to the centre of each open flower finished the project.

Due to the Easter Bank Holiday, there is only one Card & Cuppa session next week.  If you’d like to join us on Thursday then please book your place by 18:00 on Wednesday.

Happy crafting
