Last Week’s Card & Cuppa – All the ‘T’s

Happy Monday.

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.

Due to the Easter Bank Holiday, we had just one Card & Cuppa Class last week where the attendees made this project.

Timeless Textures Stampin' Up! UK

It was all the ‘t’s with a tongue twister of Timeless Textures together with Tip-Top Taupe!

We make a lot of feminine style cards, so, every 4-6 weeks I design a more masculine class project.

This project shows how to take a single colour and use it in different ways to create an aged look.  It was also our final opportunity to use Tip-Top Taupe at class as it retires at the end of May.  Make sure you check out the retiring list.

Because we were using one colour, we needed to create depth.  We achieved this through the combination of the Timeless Textures images stamped with varying levels of ink , including stamping off.

We’ve scrunched the banner and again taken the Tip-Top Taupe Ink Pad along with Sponge Daubers to give it a distressed look.  I’m not sure who was feeling more distressed at this part – one of the attendees or their banner!

To finish the shabby chic look, the co-ordinating ribbon is again crumpled to help it fray slightly.  The punched sentiment from Confetti Celebration finishes the project.

The next Card & Cuppa class will be on Thursday 4th May.  Please book your place before 18:00 the day before.

Happy crafting
