Last week’s Card & Cuppa – Yummy in My Tummy

At last week’s Card & Cuppa classes we made a project suitable for children (both young and old!) using the Yummy in My Tummy Stamp Set

I made a similar out of this world card for my Husband’s Birthday a few weeks ago!

Stampin' Up! UK Yummy in my Tummy

How cute is this little monster/alien?

I love the effect of him materialising.  To create this effect, firstly use a Stampin’ Write Marker to scribble on a Clear Block, then stamp it onto a piece of card.  To finish, stamp the monster image over the top.

We defined the spots and markings with Watercolor Pencils.  The eyes are from the carryover Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Set punched out with the Owl Punch.

Using the Playful Backgrounds stamp set to stamp tone-on-tone made it look like a martian planet.  Tying a piece of Baker’s Twine around both the balloon and arm added to the cute feel.

I hope you enjoyed this fun and jolly card.

To join us for next week’s Card & Cuppa classes make sure you book your place by 18:00 the day before.

Happy crafting
