This week combined my youngest Niece’s Birthday and my Papercrafting: Retiring Products Playtime Class.
Instead of reinventing the wheel, I decided to use the card I’d made my Niece as a class project.
I’m going to miss these beautiful balloons in the Balloon Builders Stamp Set, but I’m happy that we are still keeping other balloon sets. You’re never too old for a Birthday balloon!
This cheery card teams Elegant Eggplant and Pool Party with Whisper White. The background balloons were stamped onto the card first, followed by the strings.
The foreground balloons were stamped onto a strip of card and cut out using the co-ordinating Balloon Bouquet Punch.
We tied a bow in a strip of Elegant Eggplant Baker’s Twine, another retiring product, before finally attaching the balloons with Dimensionals. We made sure to only layer one dimensional thick to avoid additional postage.
