Earlier this month I ran a Papercrafting Class that introduced the ‘In Color’ collection for 2017-2019.
The card I’m showing you today is the one that concentrated on Tranquil Tide.
This is a dark green that I’ve teamed with colours suggested by Stampin’ Up! of Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Very Vanilla. You can see the other combinations here.
We used Timeless Textures for the background, look how the Calypso Coral is more orange than pink against these other colours.
A strip of the new Tranquil Tide Finely Woven Ribbon across the middle ties everything together. The Badges and Banners Stamp Set and matching Best Badge Punch create the sentiment.
At the time I designed the card I didn’t realise that this would end up being a Father’s Day card. They were very well received by my Dad and Father-in-Law.
