Last Week’s Card & Cuppa – Coffee Cafe

We had fun at last week’s Card & Cuppa session making this highly appropriate card.

Stampin' Up! Coffee Cafe

It uses the brand new Coffee Cafe Stamp Set from the Annual Catalogue.

Aren’t the coffee cups and lids cute?

The coffee bean background is first stamped in Soft Suede onto Crumb Cake cardstock.

We then stamped the coffee cups and lids in Early Espresso of course!  The sentiment is stamped in two colours by inking up first in Pear Pizzazz and then colouring the word ‘coffee’ with an Early Espresso marker.

There is a matching set of framelits available to cut out the shapes.  However, as I don’t use the Big Shot at Card & Cuppa sessions, they had to be hand cut instead.

Two new ribbons are wrapped around project, the soft classic weave and a bow from the sheer ribbon. My husband suggested placing the White ribbon at the top of the Crumb Cake piece as it looked like a latte!

I’m not a coffee drinker myself, but would quite happily send this card to a friend.  I’d indulge in a hot chocolate instead while they were enjoying their coffee.

This weeks sees the start of a brand new Card & Cuppa session, we now have 3 sessions and venues each week.  Click here for more details and here to book your place.

Happy crafting
