Last Week’s Card & Cuppa – This Little Piggy

Happy Monday and happy last day of July.

As it’s Monday, it’s time to show you last week’s Card & Cuppa project.

Stampin' Up! This Little Piggy

It uses the cute This Little Piggy Stamp Set.  This stamp set comes with sentiments and pigs on the same images.

If you pardon the pun, I’ve butchered the stamp set and cut the sentiments off the pigs.  This makes the pigs even more versatile and easier to ink up.  Please be careful if you do this as the sentiments are close to the images and you don’t want to ruin the stamps.

The little piggy image is stamped in Archival Basic Gray ink and coloured using Watercolor Pencils.  Once the images are coloured, the pencil lines are then softened using a Blender Pen.

We used a Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write Marker to colour the sentiment before punching it out.

The whole project is on a Very Vanilla notecard and I think it sets it off beautifully.

A strip of ribbon adds some bling as a finishing touch.

Don’t forget that the Bonus Days and Christmas in July promotions end today.  Make sure you don’t miss out.

If you want to join us for the next Card & Cuppa session, book your place by 18:00 the day before.

Happy crafting
