At our recent In Color Introduction Class we created this pretty floral card for the Powder Pink project.
It uses the gorgeous Garden in Bloom Stamp Set and one of the suggested colour combinations from Stampin’ Up! for Powder Pink.
When I was designing the card, I couldn’t decide which punch to use for the sentiment, as I didn’t want to crowd the project.
Well, as you can see, I didn’t use a punched shape at all. Instead, a voice in my head said ‘have you tried stamping onto In Color ribbon? So, I stamped straight onto the ribbon to see what would happen.
Don’t you just love those lightbulb moments that actually work? The new ‘In Color’ Finely Woven Ribbon has taken the ink brilliantly. Just leave it to one side for a moment to avoid smudging it before putting it on the project.
