For last week’s Card & Cuppa I designed a card suitable for both male and female Birthdays.
Using a design from the Annual Catalogue for my inspiration, we made this almost identical project.
A combination of Confetti Celebration Stamp Set, Night of Navy, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist and Silver 1/8″ are used on this project. Tone-on-tone stamping is the technique used to create the background.
We then used the new Starburst punch to create the outer layer of the rosette. It’s a punch I haven’t used much, but that will change as I love it!
I have to confess that I accidentally took the wrong punch to class with me! The 2 1/4″ instead of the 2″ was in my bag so, as a result, the sentiment was too big for the Starburst. However, the attendees were very creative and found their own ways to make it fit…
