Last Week’s Card & Cuppa – Painted Harvest

At last week’s Card & Cuppa we used a brand new stamp set and matching punch from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue.

Stampin' Up! Painted Harvest

It uses the Painted Harvest Stamp Set I showed you the other day.  However, this uses non sunflower colours to create a pretty project.  Some of the attendees even thought that it was a piece of DSP background and not handstamped!

One of the things I love about this set is the co-ordinating Punch.  It’s a really handy size and will be useful for most floral designs.

The colours I used to create the flowers were Sweet Sugarplum, Rich Razzleberry and Fresh Fig.  A co-ordinating strip of Striped Ribbon in Sweet Sugarplum helps to bring the project together.

Wild Wasabi was the green used for the leaves which were first stamped tone-on-tone before punching.

Although the sentiment is ‘thank you’, a lot of the attendees decided to rebel and chose to change their greeting!

To join the rebels at next week’s Card & Cuppa class book your place by 18:00 the night before!

Happy crafting
