Happy Monday!
At last week’s Card & Cuppa class we created a pretty Birthday Card using the Neutral colour family.
My inspiration for this project came from flicking through the Annual Catalogue. When I reached Page 97 I saw a layout I liked and set about changing the stamp sets and colours.
Using the Watercolor Wash Stamp to create the background in Crumb Cake, I teamed this with Soft Suede and Very Vanilla for lovely sepia tones.
Flower Shop and Bunch of Blossoms Stamp Sets met, along with the Pansy Punch and Blossom Builder Punch to create the floral pieces.
A length of Linen Thread wrapped around the card and finished with a bow just add a classy touch. We then used Wink of Stella Clear to add a touch of sparkle to the flowers which turns a lovely golden colour when you use it on Soft Suede 🙂
Some Rhinestones were then dotted across the project to finish.
This week is our final ‘normal’ card before we head into making Christmas Cards over the next three weeks.
If you’d like to join us at a Card & Cuppa session then book your place by 18:00 the day before.
Happy crafting
