When I first saw the project on Page 143 of the Annual Catalogue I knew I wanted make my own version.

I had the perfect ocassion last week as it was my Mum’s Birthday.

For the colours I decided not to use the neutral palette, I opted for shades of blue instead. Night of Navy, Island Indigo and Pool Party combined with Very Vanilla are my chosen shades.

The main design uses the Falling Flowers Stamp Set and the matching May Flowers Framelits. I’ve used the Touches of Texture Stamp Set in the background.

There are lots of layers in this card fixed using Dimensionals and these create the depth.

Sponge Daubering the edges, a piece of pretty doily, strip of Island Indigo Ombre Ribbon, Pearls and Wink of Stella are the finishing touches.

I’m pleased to say that Mum loved her card 🙂
