What better way to celebrate during a dull February than with a bright Birthday flower.
It is a Birthday card for one of my regular class attendees.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve fallen head over heels for Stampin’ Blends, I’m also rather smitten with the Petal Passion DSP. The two together make a stunning combination.
I’ve coloured the beautiful large flower from the DSP with Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends.
As the flower is the main feature, I wanted to keep the other items on the card to a minimum. To do this I used strips of Basic Black and Old Olive cardstock with Organza Ribbon and Mini Sequin Trim for an extra touch of sparkle and glamour. The finishing touch is the tiny Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes dotted on the background.
The simple sentiment is from Picture Perfect Birthday, again from the Spring/Summer Catalogue.
Happy crafting
