As it was Mothering Sunday at the weekend, I can now show you the cards I made.

There are two different colour ways of the same design in Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie.

I made these way back at the end of January when I was making a different project and got distracted by pretty things!

They use products from the Petal Passion Suite including the Stamp Set and Dies Bundle and the Designer Series Paper.

Using Stampin’ Blends I’ve coloured the background of the the DSP in Pool Party before highlighting the flower. This is similar to the picture on Page 22 in the Spring/Summer Catalogue.

As I didn’t have the right colour ribbon, I used the Pool Party Stampin’ Blend again to co-ordinate it with the rest of the project.

The sentiment is just perfect.  If you can’t use From the Heart on Mothering Sunday… Layering it on top of the ribbon and die-cut pieces, along with with some pearls, adds a pretty finishing touch.
