Today I’m going to share a project from my most recent Stamp-a-Stack Class. Those of you who know me will probably be a bit surprised at my choice of main colour!
Yes, that’s right, pink!
I’m not a fan of the colour pink myself, but that doesn’t stop me from using it for someone who does like the colour. It means that I think about the person I am making it for instead of my own likes and dislikes.
This project uses the Petal Passion Bundle of Stamp Set and matching dies, along with the co-ordinating Embossing Folders too.
Once all of the pieces are stamped, punched, die cut and embossed, it’s down to assembly. As the branches are rather small, I’ve used adhesive behind the embossed strip to secure them and a few dots of Fine-Tip Glue on several of the leaves. I find that Tear & Tape is the best dry adhesive to use on the back of embossed pieces as you aren’t ‘squashing’ the patterns when you add it.
What project have you created where the colour or technique pushed you outside of your comfort zone?
