Today I’m sharing the final two projects from my recent Waterfront Class.
All of the projects have been based on places I’ve been to and the final two are in the UK. These projects are inspired by Southwold and Lake District.
Our first project is Southwold.
I’ve been to Southwold several times and it has mainly been dreary. This card reflects this, but also shows the pretty beach huts that add colour to the cut through the gloom.
Again, this uses 1st and 2nd generation stamping in Smoky Slate and Sahara Sand to create the sea and sand. The beach huts are in Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, Fresh Fig, Cajun Craze and Marina Mist.
One of the sentiments from the stamp set sits nicely across a strip of co-ordinating ribbon.
Our final project is Lake District, on a rare sunny day!
This project is also similar to the one in the Spring/Summer Catalogue but it made me think of Cumbria.
A mixture of Pool Party, Dapper Denim, Lemon Lime Twist, Crumb Cake and Old Olive combine to make the scene.
Which is your favourite project of the 6?
Happy crafting
