At last weeks Card & Cuppa session Bunch of Blossoms met the new colours. This project is very loosely based on the sample on Page 159 of the new Annual Catalogue.

New colours Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green made an appearance, along with returning Mint Macaron. There were also three In Colors, Blueberry Bushel, Grapefruit Grove and Pineapple Punch.

I really like the colour of the greens on the stems as leaves as they make a great contrast. Although Pineapple Punch is a really vibrant yellow, putting alongside Grapefruit Grove seems to tone it down a touch.

The Blueberry Bushel sentiment works well with the Mint Macaron background stamping and banner. A strip of co-ordinating ribbon just adds an extra bit of detail.

By using a glue dot on the end nearest the stem, and a Dimensional at the top of the flower, the flowers stand out from the project.

As the project is quite colourful, I chose a Thick Whisper White basecard to bring everything together.

Finally, a few Rhinestones add a touch of bling.
