I’d been asked for cards suitable for Wedding Anniversaries, so I decided to create this Very Vanilla project.
It’s a one colour project with highlights of colour from the Soft Suede stamping and Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
The background texture is made from 3 different size circles stuck over the card, plus a large circle to sit the flower onto.
Even though I don’t use a Big Shot at Card & Cuppa classes, we still made use of a Framelits. A flower from the May Flowers Framelits is drawn around twice and cut out by hand. The leaves are from the Leaf Punch, so no fussy cutting for those!
A strip of Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon behind the flower, with a Gold Faceted Gem for the centre adds some bling.
The attendees chose whether to add the ‘Enjoy your Special Day’ sentiment from Dragonfly Dreams as a finishing touch.
This card can work for Weddings, Anniversaries and Engagements, and Birthdays too. I think it will look fabulous in Whisper White with Silver highlights as well.
