It was the first Card & Cuppa session after my holiday last week and the project was pink flowers and dots.
I have made a similar project in the past but this has a different colour scheme and uses different flowers.
The colour combination is Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo and Berry Burst with Very Vanilla.
Two set of background dots from the Daisy Delight Stamp Set and Jar of Love Stamp Set are randomly stamped across the Very Vanilla Cardstock.
Then, flowers from Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set and again Jar of Love are added to some of the dots.
As there are lots of circles on the project, the Detailed Trio Punch creates the rounded corners that mirror them.
The sentiment is again from Jar of Love but is mounted onto several layers of circles. Behind the layers are a piece of co-ordinating Very Vanilla Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and Baker’s Twine. Although you can’t see the Tulle Ribbon, or it’s subtle shimmer very well in the picture, I promise you it is there!
Finally, a few Pearls in the centre of some of the flowers add another touch of shimmer.
As you know, I love to create a design and then make it in different colour ways. It’s a way of getting a lot more use from the original design and can create a totally different look. Which colour combination would you choose?
