As last week’s Card & Cuppa was the final one before we head into Christmas cards, I decided to use Botanical Bliss.
I’ve not used this stamp set at class before but it has some useful sentiments in a fabulous font. It also has some lovely botanical images in flowers, leaves and a bird.
To create the project we stamped the flower image in Sahara Sand onto a circle cut using the 2″ Circle Punch. The image is stamped several times to create multiple images.
These are then coloured using the fabulous Watercolor Pencils. Instead of using a Blender Pen, we’ve used Wink of Stella to give a touch of sparkle. This then sits on a Pool Party layer from the Starburst Punch.
Pear Pizzazz is used to add various leaves to the background, with a mixture of first and second generation stamping. This creates more depth to the images.
After using the Triple Banner Punch to shape the end, one of the sentiments is then added to the project.
A strip of co-ordinating Shimmer Ribbon adds yet more sparkle.
The final touch of sparkle is from a Clear Faceted Gem sitting in the centre of the flower. Unfortunately, the camera hasn’t captured the amount of sparkle on the project. It’s a lot more shimmery in real life!
