For last week’s Card & Cuppa project, I decided to use a stamp set and technique that had both been neglected.
Here is the Daisy Delight diagonal slash card.

It uses a fabulous colour combination of Calypso Coral, Granny Apple Green and Crumb Cake. I love how the colours really pop against the Whisper White.
The daisy was stamped onto the Whisper White card and then a Blender Pen was used to soften and colour the image slightly.
Next, it was time to cut it in half on the diagonal to create the separate pieces. This involved measuring from both edges and joining the marks with a ruler on the back. Make sure you have the line running in the right direction before you cut.
These two pieces are then attached to the background layer to create the gap.

Two more daisies were stamped, punched and layered and placed in the gap. Leaves were then stamped and fussy cut and positioned around the daisy.
Finally, a Gold Faceted Gem was added to the centre of the daisy.

Card & Cuppa is taking a break for a few weeks, but it returns w/c 13th May. Make sure you’ve booked your place by 18:00 the day before if you want to join us.
Happy crafting
