At last week’s Card & Cuppa I decided to turn to the Pressed Petals Washi Tape.

If you haven’t seen this fabulous tape in the Annual Catalogue, then take a look at Page 73.
There are two reels, one is a standard Washi Tape in Soft Suede. The other is these fabulous petals in Merry Merlot. Each one is tacky so you can arrange then where you like. There’s a LOT of petals on the reel.
I chose to create a more vintage style so my colour combination is Rococo Rose, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake, Merry Merlot and Very Vanilla.
A large floral image from the Floral Essence Stamp Set is used for the background, with what would be the flower centre as dot-type images on the Very Vanilla piece.

Tone-on-Tone leaves using the Leaf Punch and a sentiment from the Well Said Stamp Set are added before the flower.
I found a handy trick to create the flower is to punch a small circle to build it on. This way, it’s easier to pick up when you’ve finished and add it to the project, instead of creating straight onto the card.

Once the flower is added, a strip of the Soft Suede Washi Tape is attached.
Finally, one of the fabulous yellow Perennial Essence Floral Centres is added.
The possibilities with this Pressed Petals Washi Tape are endless.
Join us for a future Card & Cuppa session. Book your place by 18:00 the day before.
