At last week’s Card & Cuppa sessions, we used more NEW products from the Mini Catalogue, the Painted Poppies Bundle.
This Bundle contains the Painted Poppies Stamp Set and the Painted Labels Dies. What is even more fabulous is that by purchasing this Bundle, you can also receive a FREE SAB item.

My colour combination started with Poppy Parade, along with Old Olive and Basic Gray. These were used with with Very Vanilla to create a softer look than Whisper White.
The background texture was stamped off first to continue the softer theme. Stampin’ Write Markers were used to ink up the stamp for a subtle watercolour-esque image. A Blender Pen was then used to pull the ink to colour the poppies.
If you don’t want to use markers from multiple colour families, then try and stick with one, such as Brights or Regals.

Once the image had been stamped, the dies were used to cut out the pretty frame and the edge piece.
Some stamping on the background of the card in Old Olive (stamped off first) helped to pull everything together.
Pearls were then added for a finishing touch.

This project will look fabulous in other colours too, maybe pinks and purples or oranges and yellows.
If you’d like to create more projects using this Bundle, then book a place on my Painted Poppies evening Class. Booking closes on Wednesday 5th February. Visit my Class Timetable for details of all my classes.
