Here is a project from a recent BYO Stamps Class. For this class I designed three projects using various spotlighting techniques. This anniversary card using Forever Fern, a new Stamp Set from the new Catalogue, concentrates on just one stamp.
To begin with, the sentiment is stamped onto a punched circle and then stuck very lightly onto the stamping layer. The sentiment is from the Many Mates Stamp Set, another new item in the Annual Catalogue.
Then, the image is stamped multiple times using various greens, Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive all over the project, including the sentiment.
The sentiment is then carefully removed and layered onto a larger circle in Old Olive.
A length of Old Olive ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack is placed across the stamping, before the sentiment is finally added with Dimensionals. The sentiment is lined up with the original stamping to make it look seamless.
This is such an easy project to recreate using lots of different stamp sets, colours and sentiments.
I chose ‘Happy Anniversary’ as it was my wedding anniversary last week, so it seemed appropriate.
