For last Week’s Card & (Your) Cuppa class project, the attendees had to pick a vase (or 12). It was more about vase arranging than flower arranging!
Using the Playing With Patterns 6×6 DSP, every attendee had 12 vases shapes from the Vases Builder Punch. As each shape is double-sided, the biggest challenge was deciding where to place each one and the side of pattern to use. They could use any number of vases in any combination.
Taking my colour inspiration from the DSP, the base card is Crushed Curry with a Purple Posy layer. The flowers are a mix of Crushed Curry and Calypso Coral, with Coastal Cabana leaves.
This isn’t a colour combination I would have put together myself, so it’s great to try something new by using the DSP colours. You already know they are going to work together, so all you need to do is create a project using them.
A length of the co-ordinating Purple Posy Ribbon from Playing With Patterns Combo Pack sits down the side. Keep an eye out for this Combo Pack as some of the ribbons may be making an appearance in this week’s class.
The flowers are covered with Wink of Stella before adding them with a Glue Dot. Again, the flowers and leaves could be arranged in any vase, in any combination.
How many vases would be on your project, and how would you arrange them?
