It’s a purple start to the week with yesterday’s Card & (Your) Cuppa project and this Highland Heather Birthday Butterflies card!

Using the same design as this recent project, I went monochrome for my Sister-in-Law’s Birthday.
Re-using designs by just changing the colours or stamp sets is a great way to get the most out of your crafting as it saves lots of time. Also, if you aren’t sure what to create, it helps to give you a starting point.
Highland Heather and Whisper White come together with lots of tone-on-tone stamping.

Swirly Frames provides the pretty rectangle outline. The Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and co-ordinating Butterfly Duet Punch create lots of butterflies.
To create depth, a few butterflies are stamped directly onto the card. The rest are then layered over the top using Glue Dots.

‘Happy Birthday’ from the Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set is simply cut out and stuck using Dimensionals to raise it up.
Finally, a touch of Wink of Stella on the large butterfly and a scattering of Rhinestones add a touch of sparkle.
