When your business is called HIPPOFROG Designs, it is only a matter of time before the fabulous new SAB Hippest Hippos Stamp Set and coordinating Hippo Dies make an appearance here.
With the unusually hot weather we have been experiencing here in the UK over the past few days, this hip hippo is keeping very cool!
The background hippo is stamped tone-on tone onto Pool Party.
Using Basic Gray, the main hippo is stamped and cut out using the Hippo Dies. This is one of the three hippest hippos in the stamp set.
Waves, sunglasses and the splash are cut out using the Dies too.
I have coloured the hippo using Watercolor Pencils, then used a Blender Pen to soften any pencil marks.
Watercolour Pencils have also been used on the waves and the dark part of the sunglasses.
The waves and splash are stuck onto the circle cut from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Sunglasses are added to the hippo before it is attached.
A sentiment, also from the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set is then added.
The whole piece is raised up on Dimensionals.
Finally, a few of the new Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems from the new July-December Mini Catalogue are added.
