Week 2 of my Countdown to Christmas 2023 series is this quick and simple Christmas card.
It copies this previous design I made using the Biggest Wish Stamp Set.
This new More Wishes Stamp Set in the September-December Mini Catalogue is additonal words in the same font and size as that set, so the two coordinate perfectly.
For this design, I’ve stayed with the monochrome look and used Sweet Sorbet for the pop of colour.
‘Merry’ is stamped multiple times in a combination of first and second generation stamping. The project is then rotated 90 degrees and the ‘Christmas’ part is then stamped.
What is great about this project is that it can be portrait or landscape, there is no right or wrong way round.
A strip of coordinating cardstock is then added, along with a length of the In Color Baker’s Twine, also in Sweet Sorbet.
Finally, triangles of Rhinestones sit either side of the ‘Christmas’.
I really like this design as it is quick and easy to make and you don’t need lots of products.
You can also use multiple colours, ribbons, bling and much more to add your own style.
