Last Week's Card & Cuppa - SAB Seam Binding Ribbon

Last week’s Card & Cuppa class was our first session of 2025.

As lots of new catalogues and special offers had gone live during the break, it was the perfect opportunity to use a new product.

The new Sale-a-Bration (SAB) Seam Binding Ribbon in Fresh Freesia was my starting point. Find out more on how you can receive this, and other products for FREE between now and the end of February.

To begin, the sentiment from the Simply Said Stamp Set is stamped across the bottom in Fresh Freesia.

Next, the leaves from the Spotlight on Nature Stamp Set are stamped multiple times to create a background.

A butterfly from the same Stamp Set is also stamped onto a separate piece of cardstock in Basic Gray. This is then punched out with a Circle Punch from the Online Exclusives.

Using Watercolor Pencils, both the butterfly and the leaves were coloured. A touch of Wink of Stella is used on the darker sections of the butterfly wings.

Another larger circle is punched out to create a layer for the butterfly.

A length of the Seam Binding Ribbon is placed across the centre of the project and the butterfly piece sits on top raised up on Dimensionals.

Finally, a few Rhinestones are added for an extra touch of bling.
