This is the final project from this month’s Card Making class. As all of the projects were on the theme of ‘For the Children’, I decided to design a card with teenagers in mind.

Using the With you in Mind Stamp Set from the Annual Catalogue, this more abstract design is great for teens.

My colour combination is Lemon Lolly, Highland Heather and Azure Afternoon, along with Basic White.

Lots of different images from the stamp set were stamped across the background.

Next, the large sentiment was stamped and cut out using the Nested Essentials Dies. One shape for the sentiment and cut out again for the layer.

The sentiment has a decorative line around edge that when you cut along it, it allows the second piece to create a layer behind.

One of each of the stars, flowers and cakes were stamped onto a separate piece and needed a touch of fussy cutting.

These were stuck onto the sentiment and the whole section was attached using Dimensionals.

This is a quick and easy design that can easily be replicated in different colours and for other occasions too.
