Crafty Christmas Weekend Workouts – Week 8 Day 1

It’s time for this weekend’s Crafty Christmas Weekend Workouts.

Today I’m showing you some Christmas decorations made from the Reason for the Season Stamp Set and matching Festive Flower Builder Punch.

These flowers are fairly easy to put together once you have stamped and punched the various pieces and folded each petal and leaf in half to add dimension.

Each layer is then attached to a 1″ circle and they are then put together to create the 3D poinsettia using Multipurpose Adhesive.

I’ve created a whole load of these and will be attaching a ribbon to each one to hang in our window as part of our Christmas decorations this year.

Crafty Christmas Weekend Workouts – Week 5 Day 1

This weekend’s Crafty Christmas Weekend Workouts are all about kits in the Autumn/Winter Catalogue.

Today I’m showing you a fabulous set of decorations.  These would make a great table centrepiece or look lovely in a window or on a mantlepiece.

The kit contains three pre-cut trees (2 27.9cm tall and one 33cm tall) in two colours and a full set of colour instructions. The decorations are stamped using the co-ordinating Forever Evergreen Stamp Set, assembled and added to the tree.

The picture above is to show you my work in progress – this is just one of the half finished projects in my craft room! I’ve made a start on one of the small trees in the kit and used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to assemble it. This adhesive gave me a bit of wriggle room for adjusting the positioning of the trees.

A top tip is to watch this video from Stampin’ Up! which gives you some really handy pointers on how to assemble the trees.
