Last Week’s Card & Cuppa – Inked & Tiled Bundle

Last week’s Card & Cuppa project used the new Inked & Tiled Bundle from the Annual Catalogue.

This Bundle has a Stamp Set and a double punch pack, yes, that’s two punches.

My colour combination is Petal Pink, the new Lemon Lolly, returning In Color Lost Lagoon and Basic White. The design is inspired by a project in the Annual Catalogue.

Background ‘stripes’ are stamped tone-on-tone to give a feeling of texture.

Images from the Stamp Set are then stamped onto shapes cut out using the punches from the Bundle.

All of the shapes are then arranged and stuck to the background.

A sentiment, also stamped and cut out sits on a coordinating Petal Pink ribbon swoosh from the Ribbon Duo Pack.

Finally, some Iridescent Rhinestones add a touch of sparkle.

Last Week’s Card & Cuppa – Quiet Meadow Stamp Set & Dies Meets New Colours

At last week’s Card & Cuppa, I chose a similar theme to the previous week in combining a previous Stamp Set with new colours.

This time I chose some of the new blues of Azure Afternoon – new colour, Blueberry Bushel – returning In Color and Balmy Blue, along with Basic White.

Using the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set and coordinating Meadow Dies, I took inspiration from Page 66 of the new Annual Catalogue for my project.

The words and splats are both stamped in Balmy Blue for a background, with the words using second generation stamping.

After stamping the large floral image in Blueberry Bushel, a Blender Pen is used to move some of the colour around and to soften the white. Wink of Stella is then dotted in the centre of each of the flowers.

Azure Afternoon cardstock is used for the stem that is cut out using the Meadow Dies.

An inkpad in the same colour is used for the sentiment.

A ribbon swoosh in silver from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack from the Online Exclusives range sits behind the sentiment that is raised up on Dimensionals.

Finally, some silver Festive Pearls are used to coordinate with the ribbon.

This project would be great in other colours too. Maybe shades of purple or brown.

Last Week’s Card & Cuppa – Sending Smiles Stamp Set Meets New Colours

After a few weeks off due to my break and the Bank Holidays, Card & Cuppa was back.

Last week’s project used the Sending Smiles Stamp Set and combined it with some new colours from the new Annual Catalogue.

My colour combination was Bubble Bath – a new colour, Lemon Lime Twist – a returning In Color and Melon Mambo, with Basic White.

The stems and flowers were stamped straight onto the Basic White piece using images from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set. Zingy Lemon Lime Twist leaves are toned down slightly with the pale Bubble Bath flowers.

A sentiment is stamped in Melon Mambo and has a length of Lemon Lime Twist from the coordinating Ribbon Duo Pack looped on the back. This is raised up on Dimensionals.

Using Wink of Stella, the centres of the flowers are given a touch of sparkle.
