Guiding Card Making – Daisy

I recently showed you a project from a Guiding event.  Here is the second card from the morning.

Daisy Delight from Stampin' Up! with HIPPOFROG Designs

It is again a project from last year’s Charity Card Making Day.

This notecard is a very quick and easy project and is perfect for beginners.

A great project where a set of these notecards would make a lovely gift. With just a change of sentiment it can be suitable for a number of different occasions.

The star of the project is the stamped and punched daisy from the Delightful Daisy Suite. With just a few colours you can create this clean and simple design.

Some of the attendees had never stamped before and I really enjoyed showing them how to use stamps and ink to create their first project.

Daisy and DSP

Today I’m sharing another Stamp-a-Stack project. This one is all about daisies.

Delightful Daisy from Stampin' Up! with HIPPOFROG Designs

It uses items from the Delightful Daisy Suite – stamp set, punch and DSP.

This is a great project for paper stash busting as all you need is strips to make a background. Then it’s up to you how you decide to embellish it. I’ve used ribbon to separate two of the strips and the very simple daisy as the focal point. The centre of the daisy is coloured using a Sponge Dauber and then topped with a Faceted Gem.

It’s another quick and easy project where the longest part is deciding which side of the DSP to use!

Don’t forget that this fabulous DSP is on the retiring list and therefore leaving us at the end of May. Make sure you grab yours while stocks last.

Saying Hello – Daisy Delight

With the new Catalogue just 5 days away, are you ready for another sneak peek?

From the excited squeals I’ve been hearing, my Catalogue packs have hit doormats, so you may have received the item I’m going to show you today.

In Color Stampin' Up!

Say ‘Hello’ to Daisy Delight.

Daisy Delight is a Stamp Set with 16 Photopolymer stamps. It will be available with the matching Punch in a discounted bundle from 1st June too.  The DSP in this Delightful Daisy Suite is also stunning and the embellishments are very sparkly!  For me, it was love at first sight and I’m fairly sure it will become one of my ‘go to’ sets.

Here I’ve combined the punched daisy image from the set with the new In Color cardstock, ink, DSP and ribbon. Doesn’t it look great in all of these colours?

Which In Color card did you receive with your Catalogue?

I’m planning a class using items from the suite.  Watch this space for further details once the catalogue has launched.

It’s not too late to receive a catalogue, just get in touch and I’ll pop one in the post to you (UK).
