Last Week’s Card & Cuppa – Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set & Punch

Last week’s Card & Cuppa project continued my alphabet theme, with ‘F’.

The Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set and Punch are really versatile, so this Thank You card was great for the attendees to make.

My colour combination was the In Colors of Fresh Freesia and Soft Succulent, along with Highland Heather and Basic White.

Background flowers were stamped in Fresh Freesia, with additional flowers stamped onto Fresh Freesia cardstock in Highland Heather. Leaves were then stamped tone-on-tone onto Soft Succulent Cardstock.

Both shapes were cut out using the coordinating Flowers & Leaves Punch.

Using a Stampin’ Blend, they were given an extra touch of colour highlights before layering the flowers and leaves together.

Wink of Stella was then added to the centre of each flower.

A sentiment, also from the Stamp Set was stamped and cut out using with Lasting Label Punch.

This, along with the flowers and leaves are raised up on Dimensionals.

Finally, some Rhinestones add a finishing touch of extra sparkle.

I love how this colour combination works together. It gives a very soft look.

Finishing Up Friday – Orange Flowers

This week’s Finishing Up Friday uses leftover pieces from this recent Card & (Your) Cuppa project.

To begin with, I shaped the edge of my cardstock pieces using the Very Best Trio Punch from the July-December Mini Catalogue.

Next, I stamped an image from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set and coloured the leaves with my Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad and a Blender Pen.

An additional large flower shape was cut out using the same Flowers & Leaves Punch. All of the flower shapes were then given some colour on the edges using a Mango Melody Ink Pad and Sponge Dauber.

The flower pieces were curled with a Paper Folder and layered together in pairs with a Glue Dot and stuck to each stem.

My sentiment is from the Go To Greetings Stamp Set stamped onto a shape from the Beautiful Shapes Dies.

This sits on a length of the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon coloured with a coordinating Stampin’ Blend.

Finally, some Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins, also from the Mini Catalogue were added to the centre of each flower.

In Color Flowers of Friendship

Do you have those moments when your crafting mojo goes?

Mine went recently, so I gave it a little kickstart by CASEing a project from Page 21 of the Annual Catalogue.

If you’re not sure what CASEing is all about, then head to this video for an explanation.

I chose a colour combination of two In Colors, Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent and teamed them with Calypso Coral and Very Vanilla.

My background is given some texture using the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder. I’ve then added a touch of colour using a Blending Brush and Pale Papaya.

A strip of the In Color 6×6 DSP is then added.

Next, I stamped and punched the flowers and leaves from the Flowers of Friendship Bundle (Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set & Flowers & Leaves Punch). Make sure you take advantage of the discounted Catalogue Bundles.

Using a Blender Pen to pull the ink colours the flowers in.

Two of each flower are layered together to make a more full bloom and a sequin from the Artistry Blooms Sequins pack is added to the centre.

These are then added to the project using Dimensionals.

A sentiment is then tucked behind the flowers.

Finally, some coordinating Genial Gems are added to the project for a touch of sparkle.

My colour combination is Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Early Espresso for this project.

I’ve used the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set and Flowers & Leaves Punch Bundle from the Annual Catalogue.

The background flowers are given a touch more colour using a Blender Pen. Their centres are given a touch of sparkle using Wink of Stella.

Corners are then rounded using the Detailed Trio Punch.

A length of the Gold Shimmer Ribbon goes across the project. It works really well with the colour combination.

Using the sentiment from the Flowers of Friendship, this is cut out using the Tasteful Labels Dies and attached with Dimensionals.

Separate flowers and leaves are then added to this.

Finally, some Brushed Metallic Dots, in coordinating Gold are dotted around the project.

Get Well Flowers

This Get Well Soon card is for a lovely lady.

Using the Flowers of Friendship Bundle from the Annual Catalogue, it made it simple to pull everything together.

My colour combination is Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral and Old Olive, with Very Vanilla.

The background flowers from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set are stamped and then given a touch of colour using a Blender Pen.

Using tone-on-tone stamping, the extra flowers and leaves are stamped and punched using the coordinating Flowers & Leaves Punch.

Wink of Stella is used on these flowers to add a touch of sparkle.

A sentiment from the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set provides the Get Well Soon message.

Once everything is assembled, a few Artistry Blooms Sequins are added to the centre of the flowers and across the card.

This design would be easy to recreate in different colours and for different occasions.

Hybrid Daisies

For today’s project, I sharing these hybrid daisies with you.

These are a hybrid of the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set for the stems and leaves, with the Medium Daisy Punch creating the flowers.

As the daisies cover the flowers in the stamped image, you wouldn’t know they were there.

A colour combination of Daffodil Delight, Just Jade and Basic White give this project a fresh summery feel.

Using a Blender Pen, the leaves are given a soft hint of colour.

Next, a strip of Just Jade Ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack lays down one side. A strip of Daffodil Delight stamped tone-on-tone sits on top.

This is topped with a sentiment from the Stamp Set and cut out using the Label Me Fancy Punch.

For the daisies, two shapes are layered and given a yellow centre using a Sponge Dauber.

Finally, after these are attached, the centres have a touch of sparkle using sequins from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack.

Flowers of Friendship in Rich Razzleberry

Today, a new Annual Catalogue Bundle meets an old favourite colour combination.

Here are Flowers of Friendship in Rich Razzleberry, with Old Olive.

The flowers from the Stamp Set are simply stamped on half of the background, masking along the centre to keep the top part free of stamping.

They are then quickly given some extra colour using a Blender Pen.

A strip of the Reversible Old Olive and Pretty Peacock Ribbon covers the masking line.

Three large and three small flowers are stamped and then cut out using the Flowers and Leaves Punch from the Bundle.

Again, a Blender Pen gives them some more colour before the pieces are layered using Glue Dots.

For the sentiment, the Many Messages Bundle (Many Messages Stamp Set and Messages Die) from the January-June Mini Catalogue is used. It creates the perfect size and shape to sit on the ribbon.

Finally, coordinating self-adhesive sequins add some sparkle to the centre of each flower.

Annual Catalogue 2021 Happy Mail

The new Annual Catalogue is here, and Annual Catalogues mean happy mail for those on my mailing list.

Annual Catalogue 2021 Happy Mail included this pretty Thank You card, made using new products of course!

It uses the fabulous new Flowers of Friendship Bundle (Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set and Flowers & Leaves Dies).

My colours are the new In Color of Soft Succulent for the stem and leaves. Then, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya and Polished Pink for the flowers.

As I was stamping batches of these, I used my Stamparatus to make the stamping of the stems consistent.

Each of the flowers is stamped tone-on-tone before being punched out and assembled. One of the flowers is layered to make it larger than the others.

Next, the sentiment from the Stamp Set is stamped in the same colour as the flowers. This is cut out using the Label Me Fancy Punch.

A length of the pretty new In Color Ribbon is looped behind the sentiment.

Finally, the centres of the flowers are given a slight touch of sparkle using Wink of Stella.
