For last week’s Card & Cuppa project I reached for last year’s In Colors to create this pretty In Color Banners card

It’s a perfect project for those paper hoarders out there.

First, the sentiment from Picture Perfect Birthday is stamped in Berry Burst with the background images in Powder Pink.

All of the banners are strips from the sadly retiring Fresh Florals DSP. The width of the strips varies with the narrowest strips made from the Classic Label punch. Each banner is then glued over the piece of Baker’s Twine to make a ‘washing line’ of pieces.

We manually cut the v-shapes creating different lengths, but you could also use various punches to create these.

Once the ‘washing line’ was secure, a little piece of SNAIL to stop the banners from moving was the finishing touch.

Don’t forget that even though last year’s In Color Collection aren’t on the retiring list, the embellishments and DSP in the colours are. Make sure you place your orders for any retiring items by the end of May.
