At last week’s Card & Cuppa, I continued my run through of the 2026-2028 In Colors. This time, I was introducing Golden Glow.

I chose to create a more masculine-style card using the Gears & Textures Stamp Set from the May-August Catalogue. This Stamp Set has coordinating Dies as part of a Bundle, but for this project, we only used the Stamp Set.
My colour combination alongside Golden Glow was Pecan Pie and Early Espresso. As I wanted to create a warmer card, to mirror the warmth of Golden Glow, I chose Very Vanilla over Basic White.
To begin, the various splats, textures, cogs, chains and more (except the small screw head shape) were stamped across the background.
Next, using a Blending Brush and Pecan Pie, various areas were inked to give a more industrial feel.

Two shapes were cut using the Triple Banner Punch, with one stamped using the coordinating Banner Sayings Stamp Set, To create the background layer for the sentiment, the Early Espresso piece was cut in half and stuck to the back.
Before assembling everything together, the small screw head image was stamped several times. This was our ‘bling’.
Finally, the card was assembled with the sentiment raised up on Dimensionals.

The picture below shows a comparison of the new Golden Glow In Color against current Stampin’ Up! Colours.
