Love of Leaves for my Lovely Customers

You know how much I love making thank you cards for those who support my business. This is the card I send to my lovely July customers, made using the Love of Leaves Bundle.

Everyone who places an order with me during the month, receives a handmade thank you card from me the following month. If you use the Hostess Code for your online order, you’ll receive a little gift from me too.

For this project, I chose to use just two colours, Cinnamon Cider and Pear Pizzazz, along with Very Vanilla. Cinnamon Cider is one of the new In Colors for 2020 and works really well in this colour combination.

The Love of Leaves Bundle from the Mini Catalogue is made up of the Love of Leaves Stamp Set and the stunning Stitched Leaves Dies. Take a look at the pretty stitched lines on the leaf. I fell in love with this bundle rather quickly. Not only does the stamp set have a variety of leaf designs, it has some great sentiments too.

A simple background is made by stamping the leaf multiple times in one colour. Then, I die-cut the leaf shape in the other colour.

A couple of lengths of of the beautifully tactile Embroidered Ribbon, again from the Mini Catalogue, is stuck to the back of the leaf.

Cinnamon Cider ink is used to stamp the sentiment, cut out with the Classic Label Punch.

Finally, the leaf piece is attached with Dimensionals to raise it up off the page.

Saying Thank You with Blossoms in Bloom

Today I’m sharing my thank you to all those who shopped with me during June. I love this part of my job.

This ‘thank you’ card is made using the new Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set from the Annual Catalogue.

My colour combination of Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Old Olive is a well know favourite. Please tell me it’s not just me that only has to look at a Melon Mambo Ink Pad to get covered in the ink?

As I was stamping multiples and the main stamp is quite large, my Stamparatus came in handy. It makes it easier to ink up and stamp in the same place each time.

For the centres and leaves, I did those production line style by hand. The stamps are Photopolymer, so I was able to see where I was stamping.

Using one of my favourite punches, the Classic Label, I cut out the sentiments.

Everything is stuck together with SEAL. Two Rhinestones added to the edges of the sentiment give a touch of sparkle.

Field of Flowers for my Customer Thank You Cards

I’m so grateful to everyone who has placed an order through my Online Store during this strange time.

As a thank you to these fabulous customers, they have been receiving these pretty cards. Some have also been receiving little gifts too for using the Hostess Code for their order. Customer recognition is one of my favourite parts of my job.

I used the new Field of Flowers Stamp Set from the new Annual Catalogue. My colour combination is Garden Green and Seaside Spray with Whisper White.

To make sure everything was aligned each time, my Stamparatus came in very handy. On one plate I had the flowers, and on another the dragonfly and stems, inking each one up in turn.

The Ornate Thanks Stamp Set provides the fabulous sentiment and this is on a shape cut from the amazing new Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. You know how much I love my punches, well this one is something very special. Pop back soon as I’ll be sharing a video on how to use it.

I think the shape really adds a classy finish to the project.

Customer Thank you cards – October

At the start of each month I send Thank you cards to anyone who has purchased from me the previous month.

I also had a set of swaps to make for our Stampin’ Up! training event in Telford last weekend, so I decided to combine the two.

I used the Love You Lots Hostess Stamp Set and made batches in each 2016-18 In Color.

Here is a version in Emerald Envy.

For swaps, we usually create card fronts rather than whole cards, with the project being used for inspiration and ideas. Here is a swap in each In Color.

The Playful Background Stamp Set creates a water effect and I also added colour to the frog using a Blender Pen.

For my customer Thank you cards, I mounted them onto a Thick Whisper White base to create a monochromatic look.

Last Week’s Card & Cuppa – Love You Lots

It’s almost a year since Card & Cuppa sessions started and I realised that I had been VERY restrained and hadn’t made a frog project…

This has now been rectified!

Love You Lots Stampin' Up! Card & Cuppa

I love the effect of the frogs sticking their heads up through the water on this project.

With this project the options are endless. A portrait card, a landscape card, lots of frogs, a few frogs, the positions of the frogs etc. You can have a lot of fun 🙂

We used a combination of Old Olive and Bermuda Bay cardstock with Pear Pizzazz for the watercolouring. The watercolouring had to be finished quickly, with a few brushstrokes, due to us using standard Whisper White cardstock. Therefore, this wasn’t a project for budding Picassos!

The addition of stylised waves from Work of Art and the notched ovals for the lily pad sentiment just complete the project

We had a lady join us who had never stamped before and she made a fabulous card. These sessions are suitable for all abilities.
